Formed in late 2004, Vision Wireless (a division of Vision Entertainment) is a cellular developer based in New York,
providing software development of both games and applications, porting of existing titles to new handsets and platforms,
hosting and providing encoding and streaming media services to carriers in the
US and Europe. Vision has numerous partners in the US and in Europe, and can draw upon these resources to bring highly targeted experience to projects, from game design to existing 3D and 2D graphic engines or even SKU management, platform porting, localization,
regional distribution and much more.
Vision maintains two
geographically separate datacenters in New York, enabling them to provide high-availability, disaster-contingent hosting and streaming media solutions. Visions Content Distribution Network was designed for streaming video not only to 3GPP-enabled cell phones but to a wide variety of platforms. Visions video
engineers have experience in ensuring quality of playback on over 100 different handset models, including adapting video into slideshow formats for older handsets.
The Vision Wireless Development and Porting Teams
Vision's Wireless Porting and Localization team is led by one of the most experienced professionals in the
business, the former head of all things porting at JAMDAT. Vision's overseas studios in the Philippines enables the company to perform as a highly cost-effective
porting solution to its clients for over 500 handsets in the USA and Europe. Vision's Wireless Development Team is led by an experienced designer/producer, an expert
game engine programmer, an AI guru, a top multiplayer networking engineer and a veteran art director. The Vision core team is
practiced in working together as a unit and is ready to tackle single or multiplayer, 2D or 3D development on BREW or Java handsets.
Visions core team can be scaled to immediately include 25-30 additional, very highly qualified team members to tackle the needs of large, complex projects, from
design and programming to animation.
Scalability

Vision understands the need to
be flexible while retaining resources upon demand. Visions recruiting efforts revolve around retaining an available pool of approximately forty (40) developers and art professionals with
significant experience and proven skill sets, with a goal of having at least twenty-five (25) of the pool available at any given time for project work. Vision can draw upon this pool to build
multiple large project teams, scaling back down to the core Vision team once the projects have been completed. The core Vision team has worked together for quite some time. Team members are very comfortable with one another, and this convivial environment leads to productivity gains both when working internally and when adding new team members from the pool to work
under these leads. Working space at Visions studio is very flexible, and can be instantly expanded to take advantage of adjacent space as needed.
